Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are in two parts. Part 1 applies to everyone who uses guardiancareservices.org or contacts Guardian Care Services (“Guardian”, “we”, “us”) about care, events or work. Part 2 applies to the Guardian Care Services Meta app, the tool we use to manage our own Facebook and Instagram advertising. By using this website you agree to Part 1. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
In an emergency, call 911. This website, our forms and our scheduling links are not monitored around the clock and must never be used for urgent or emergency medical needs.
Part 1: General terms
1. Who we are
Guardian Care Services is an in-home nursing agency based in Loganville, Georgia. We help families of children with special needs obtain skilled in-home nursing and caregiver support, including through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), a Medicaid program.
2. Not medical advice
Everything on this website is general information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it does not replace your child's physician. Using the website, submitting a form, or speaking with our onboarding team does not create a nurse-patient or provider-patient relationship. Care begins only after enrollment is approved and a plan of care is in place.
3. Eligibility and enrollment
Whether a child qualifies for GAPP, Medicaid or any other program, how many hours of care are approved, and any cost to a family are decided by the program, the Georgia Department of Community Health and the applicable payers, not by Guardian. We will help you through the process and explain what we learn, but we cannot guarantee that a child will qualify, how long a decision will take, or what will be approved. If a cost to your family is ever possible, we will tell you before services begin.
4. The intake form and scheduling links
- Who may submit. Please submit the intake form only if you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or have their permission to contact us on the child's behalf.
- Accurate information. Tell us what you can, as accurately as you can. We will confirm details with you before anything is filed with a program.
- A request is not enrollment. Submitting the form asks us to contact you. It does not enroll your child or reserve care.
- Scheduling links. The scheduling links we email you are private to your family. Please do not forward them. Picking a time books a call with our onboarding team, which we may need to move; we will tell you if we do.
5. Care services
Once a child is enrolled, care is provided under the child's physician orders and plan of care, our service agreement with the family, and the rules of the program that covers it. Those documents, not this website, set out the services, schedules and responsibilities that apply. Staffing depends on the approved hours and on the availability of qualified nurses and caregivers, and we will keep you informed about it.
6. Caregiver and employment opportunities
We hire nurses, CNAs and trained caretakers, and in some cases parents and family members may train and be paid as caretakers for their own child. Any such opportunity depends on program rules, our hiring requirements, required training, licensing where applicable, and a background check. Describing these opportunities on our website or in our ads is not an offer of employment or a promise of income.
7. Events
When you register for an event, we use your details to manage the event and contact you about it. Event dates, places and content may change or be cancelled, and we will tell registered guests when that happens. Please do not share health information in an event registration.
8. Using the website
You may use this website to learn about our services, request an intake, schedule a call, register for events and contact us. You agree not to misuse it, which includes trying to get into areas that are not yours (such as the staff portal), interfering with how it runs, submitting false or automated requests, or scraping it. The website's content, name and logo belong to Guardian Care Services and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. The website is intended for visitors in the United States.
9. Facebook and Instagram
We share information about our services and job openings on Facebook and Instagram. Your use of those platforms is governed by Meta's own terms. Please do not send health details about yourself or your child through Facebook, Instagram or Messenger; we will move the conversation to a phone call or our secure intake form. The tool we use to manage our advertising has its own terms in Part 2.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal and health information is described in our Privacy Policy and, for protected health information, in our Notice of Privacy Practices. Those documents and HIPAA control over anything in these terms.
11. Disclaimers
We work to keep the website accurate and current, but its information is provided “as is” and program rules change. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the website not stated in these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law, under HIPAA, or under a program that covers your child's care.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Guardian Care Services is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, or from a decision made by a program or payer. This section concerns the website only. It does not limit our responsibilities in providing care, which are governed by the plan of care, our service agreement with the family, program rules and applicable law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute about these terms that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia. This does not affect your right to file a complaint with a program, a regulator, or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Part 2: Guardian Care Services Meta app terms
This part covers the Guardian Care Services Meta app (the “App”), a Meta developer app registered to Guardian Care Services. Where it differs from Part 1, this part applies to the App.
1. What the app is
The App is an internal business tool. It connects to Meta's Marketing API on behalf of Guardian Care Services' own business account to manage our own advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including ads about our services for Georgia families and recruiting ads for nurses and caregivers. Through it we:
- create, edit, pause and resume our own campaigns, ad sets and ads;
- upload the images and videos used in our ads;
- preview ads before they run;
- read performance reports for our own ad account and Page, such as spend, reach, clicks, and the number of conversations or calls our ads produced; and
- compare those results so we know which of our ads to keep running.
New ads are created paused, and nothing is set to spend money until someone at Guardian approves it.
2. Who may use it
Only Guardian Care Services and the people it authorizes may use the App. It is not offered to the public, there is no way to sign up for it, and it does not use Facebook Login: no Facebook or Instagram user signs in to it or grants it access to their account. It acts only on ad accounts, Pages and business assets owned by Guardian Care Services. Anyone Guardian authorizes must keep its access credentials confidential and use the App only for Guardian's advertising.
3. Permissions and what they are used for
The App uses only the permissions it needs to manage our own advertising:
- ads_management and ads_read: to create and manage our ads and read their performance.
- business_management: to work with the ad account and assets in our own business portfolio.
- pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and pages_manage_ads: to identify our own Facebook Page, run ads from it, and read its ad engagement totals.
- instagram_basic: to identify our own Instagram account so ads can run there.
4. What the app does not do
- It never receives or handles protected health information, or information about any child, family, patient or intake.
- It does not read the content of Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp conversations.
- It does not collect leads and we do not use Meta lead forms.
- It does not access the profiles, friends, posts or photos of Facebook or Instagram users.
- It does not upload patient, family or customer lists to Meta or build audiences from our records.
- It does not place the Meta pixel or any other tracking on our website.
- It does not sell, rent or share any data it receives from Meta.
5. Our advertising standards
- Our ads describe our services. They never state or suggest anything about the health or medical condition of the person viewing them or their child.
- Recruiting ads for nurses and caregivers run in Meta's employment ad category, which applies Meta's rules for fair, non-discriminatory job advertising.
- Any description of eligibility or cost in an ad is subject to Part 1, section 3: the program decides eligibility and coverage.
6. Data
The performance data the App reads is in totals; it does not identify the people who saw or clicked an ad. It is stored on our own server, is used only to run our advertising, and is kept only as long as it is useful for that. Access tokens are kept out of logs and are not shared. How to ask for data to be deleted is in our Privacy Policy.
7. Meta's terms
Our use of the App is also governed by the Meta Platform Terms, Meta's Developer Policies and Meta's Advertising Standards, and we agree to follow them. Where those terms are stricter than this page, they apply. The App is Guardian's, not Meta's; Meta does not sponsor, endorse or operate it, and is not responsible for it.
8. Availability, changes and ending use
We may change, suspend or stop using the App at any time, and Meta may limit or end its access under Meta's own terms. When we stop using the App, we will revoke its access tokens and delete the data it stored, except anything we must keep by law.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided for Guardian's own use, “as is”, with no promise to anyone else that it will be available or error free. Part 1's disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law and disputes sections apply to the App as well.
